This was one of my first projects built using the Three.js framework.
I was excited to learn how to create web-based 3D interactives, and chose to build an interactive portfolio page as an experiment.
The 3D assets were created and lit in Blender, with baked lighting to optimize performance for the web. I then added animated elements to bring the scene to life.
One of the features I was most proud of was embedding YouTube videos directly into the 3D space, allowing them to seamlessly function as video players within the environment.
Some elements within this application were created externally to make the environment feel more lived-in.
For example, I used Processing to generate abstract screen visuals that display text-based UIs, helping convey the feeling of a technologically advanced space.
