Several of these visualizations have appeared on NASA Earth and Climate social media pages—such as features on the Padma River and the Mendenhall Glacier.
They’ve also been used in stories on the web, like NASA Earth Observatory’s coverage of changes in Louisiana’s wetlands and the Undamming of the Klamath River.
It's been a rewarding experience collaborating with scientists and writers to identify meaningful locations and highlight change through satellite imagery.
Fusing Landsat imagery with other satellite data opens up exciting new ways to visualize Earth from space.
By projecting digital elevation models from SRTM data, I’m able to recontextualize 2D Landsat imagery into immersive 3D scenes.
