When I was introduced to photogrammetry, I began to look at the world around me much differently.
With apps like Polycam, it became easy to scan snippets of interesting environments around me. These assets have become essential for filling 3D scenes with realistic and detailed models, keeping me constantly on the lookout for cool things to scan.
These assets are great building blocks for starting a project, and they allow me to focus on smaller details.
In some of my environment studies, I’ve experimented with large amounts of moving foliage—pushing the limits of my graphics card and offering new levels of realism in my scenes.
